We previously reported first-in-world apparent disease modifying treatment using EXOSOMES (tiny "vesicles" inside stem cells) for ALS, Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. By way of background, there is no good evidence that stem cell infusions improve any of these disorders and we have therefore declined to treat patients with them. We now report exosome benefit also for autism, MS, stroke and "brain fog"/cognitive decline. With several hundred completed human treatments we have found that the more frequently we treat, the better the results.
Read more below on these breakthroughs, and also for an exciting update regarding treatment options in the United States.
PARKINSON'S DISEASE:
We have continued to see a roughly 80% response rate. For patients who do not respond to one exosome compound, another has usually been effective. For about 10% of patients no benefit is found. Results usually last many months, and repeat treatments usually provide additive benefit. A research paper is now in peer review and should be published in the near future.
In an exciting new development, we have added vagus nerve stimulation, which involves wearing a small ear patch a few hours a day as part of a clinical trial that is improving results in some patients with complete safety and no significant side effects. More will be shared below.
LEWY BODY DEMENTIA:
Although the cohort is smaller, our success rate has been even higher with Lewy body dementia, a terrible disorder with no known treatment. As with ALS though we have found the treatment must be administered frequently ideally every month, but at most two months. Using this regimen we have prevented progression and actually effected regression of this incurable disorder in several patients.
ALS:
As with Lewy Body Dementia, we have learned that frequent treatment is absolutely essential. The longest interval consistent with sustained success between treatments is two months, and if the treatments are carried out monthly many patients can continue to improve and arrest decline.
NEW STUDY PUBLICATION:
A research paper detailing the results of our first 18 treated ALS patients was recently accepted for publication in a good pub med indexed medical journal (see here). It is only through published research that we are able to prove our results and gain credibility for these techniques: and make progress toward reimbursement. Credibility for any medical treatment derives from published research. This is the first and only published report partially reversing ALS.

STROKE:
We have treated our first three stroke patients, two have had remarkable gains, one of them several years after the stroke occurred, the third has not responded so far. These patients do not have spasticity which does not seem to respond
MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS):
Most of our patients have responded to exosome treatment which seems to be additive to stem cell treatment. And here too, we are planning on adding a trial of vagus nerve stimulation, which has been found effective in clinical trials and we think will produce additive results with the stem cell and exosome treatment
CROHN'S DISEASE/ULCERATIVE COLITIS:
We have had overall good results with these disorders with stem cells, but with the addition of vagus nerve stimulation, we are excited to see if these results can be improved even more.
AUTISM:
We published a paper showing good results with stem cell treatment, but finding even better results when treatment is combined with exosome treatment. And we are also finding good results with exosome treatment alone.
PREMATURE COGNITIVE DECLINE:
This refers to older patients who have declined more rapidly than would be expected from their age alone. Focus and clarity of thought have been improved in most with exosome treatment.
SPINAL CORD INJURY:
We have treated two quadriplegic patients with spinal cord stem cell injection. Both have shown neurologic improvement. We are expanding the study and providing repetitive injection, which we believe will provide further benefit.
STEM CELL TREATMENT NOW AVAILABLE IN THE USA:
In some states, we are now able to provide some cell treatment legally for certain patients and have begun to do so to supplement our work in Antigua. HHS secretary, RFK Junior has been supportive of efforts to increase USA access without opening a "wild wild West" irresponsible environment. Manufacturers have encouraged me to develop a national network of doctors who could perform regenerative treatment under my auspices to ensure that it is properly done. To this end, we now have excellent affiliates in Irving Texas near DFW, and Jupiter Florida, in addition to our office in Naples, Florida. We expect to bring out another affiliate in Bozeman Montana (a travel hub in that region near Yellowstone) and are taking applications from other sites. In each case it is critical, that applicable state law permits this work.
VAGUS NERVE STIMULATION:
As mentioned above, we are very excited to have begun a significant clinical trial using proven, safe, and effective vagus nerve stimulation, technology for certain disorders, especially Parkinson's and auto immune. The treatment involves wearing a removable pad behind the ear a few hours a day. It is painless, non-invasive and stimulates the vagus nerve, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and calming cognitive effects as well.
